User Manual for Nitrogen Aluminum Liquid Degassing and Stirring Machine
Ensure proper ventilation to avoid nitrogen buildup.
Only trained personnel should operate.
Inspect for gas leaks or damage before use.
Know the emergency stop procedure.
Check rotor, gas lines, and crucible for damage.
Connect high-purity nitrogen (≥99.99%) and set pressure (0.2–0.5 MPa).
Power on and set molten aluminum temperature (680–750°C).
Submerge rotor/lance (2/3 crucible depth).
Set nitrogen flow (10–20 L/min) and rotor speed (200–600 RPM).
Degas for 5–15 minutes, monitoring slag formation.
Verify hydrogen content (≤0.15 ml/100g Al) with an analyzer, if available.
Switch to stirring mode, set rotor speed (100–300 RPM).
Stir for 3–10 minutes for uniform mixing.
Stop and raise rotor.
Close nitrogen valve and power off.
Clean rotor/lance of slag.
Inspect and store in a dry environment.
Poor Degassing: Increase flow/time or check for leaks.
Uneven Mixing: Adjust rotor speed or submersion.
Noise/Vibration: Stop and inspect rotor/motor.
Low Gas Pressure: Replace cylinder or check lines.
Adjust parameters for alloy type and crucible size.
Clean after 50–100 cycles.
Use hydrogen analyzer for quality control.
Follow local slag disposal regulations.
